Day to Day, Featured, Video

Last week we participated in Morgan’s Wine Show in Tyger Valley, Durbanville. Above is a video detailing my experience of the event. Gone are the days when you can simply arrive at a wine show, pour some wine and expect it to be a success. There is a lot of work that has to go into the event beforehand, at the show itself and in terms of follow up. Check out the video for my analysis. SB

P.S. Apologies in advance, I was having a bad hair day!

Interesting insight into the wine show. The way the market has gone over the years it does seem very odd that there were not more people collecting email addresses. Certainly in the UK a significant amount of trade is done by quick-fire deals online. Although this is not necessarily the intent of some wine companies there are so many ways to propogate the relationship with the customer via electronic means, that it is really the obvious way forward.

I look forward to seeing more of your videos. Thanks.
